We ensure every Toronto Security Guards shows integrity in their actions. For security to function properly and successfully, the public must believe that the authority is doing what is moral and just.
Betterment
Our full-time team members meet at least once a week to discuss any problems they may have run into with the common goal of finding better solutions to daily occurrences. There should not be a day that goes by in which you should not be striving to become better at your career. With this mindset of constant improvement, every team member becomes a leader in their own right.
Teamwork
Weekly meetings and training sessions keep our most highly regarded teams working at peak performance. We create tight knit teams where each member knows their role and communicates with one another almost sub consciously due to repetition of team scenarios.
Our Courses
Security Guard Licensing Course
In Ontario, the security guard licence issued by Service Ontario is mandatory for every person wishing to work as a security guard. Successfully completing a 40-hour training program with us will involve an In class learning and a first aid training portion. This course meets all the requirements set out my the ministry.
The course provides students with the occupational and behavioural skills to work professionally as a security guard. The course teaches security guards a sound base to deal with problems they may encounter on-the-job.
Close Protection, Bodyguard, and Vip Protection Training
There are many programs that teach security personnel the skills and mindset to become a bodyguard or close protection professional. Many of these courses are expensive and hard for many to afford. At Mercury Group we have been offering this training to our guards for FREE to assure they have knowledge above and beyond. We have only now made it possible to offer a chance to complete Close Protection level 1A for free to all security personnel that complete the Security Guard Licensing course with us.
The Close Protection Course is optional and if completed will give the student a certificate and Mercury Group merchandise. Selected graduates will have the opportunity to train for free with the Mercury Group team on a weekly basis as they wish.
